Esports :Career or Timepass?

What is esports?

eSports also known as electronic sports, esports, e-sports, competitive  gaming, professional  gaming or pro gaming are a form of competition using video games. Most commonly, eSports take the form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional players. Although organized online and offline competitions have long been a part of video game culture, these were largely between amateurs until the late 2000s when participation by professional gamers and spectatorship in these events through live streaming saw a large surge in popularity.By the 2010s’, eSports was a significant factor in the video game industry, and many game developers now actively design toward a professional eSport subculture.

I have my self have been playing one of the Esports game a.k.a Dota2 for straight 7 years now and been live streaming on youtube. People often ask me why do you do this and what do you get through it or just tell me that it is a waste of time. I often ignore suck people or just pass them by but the truth is if you are good at it i can be also followed as a career like any other jobs or profession. Frequently asked question is that do you get paid enough playing as a carreer. The answer is yes gamer do get paid and not just a little amount but enough that they can run on their own by companies like Intel , HyperX, AMD, RedBull and many more and also through winning tournaments . Gaming as a career is not as popular in India as in other countries. Last year in the Dota 2 tournament the prize pool was set to 22 million dollars for the winning team and with over millions of spectators around the world and every year the prize pool keeps on increasing. So what do you think?

Here is a video of a game i play that I think can change your mind hopefully.

Travelling – A Journey.

There goes a famous saying by Mark Twain – ”Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
annie-spratt-217517-1080x675

The excitement of it all, the unreasoning, the decision to be impulsive and go for a passion. The idea of being spontaneous and not living for the future or the past.

The adrenaline rush is what could set a soul on fire. Habitual runners get off on the kick-in of endorphins that give them that extra boost they need to keep going. I get the same jolt from a day of travel or an unexpected side trip to a new and undiscovered land (for me… not for all mankind) that I hadn’t planned to visit.
Traveling seems to give me a near constant adrenaline rush. World travel broadens your mind in so many ways. You meet new people, share new experiences, and let down your guard much more than when back at home caught up in the mundane day to day routine of life that we think is normal.

Another benefit to traveling is coming to see one’s native country in a different light, in a different way. This is done through being able to compare and contrast home from a foreign location, done most always through traveling.
A new perspective may be formed.
Away from home, one comes to understand what “home” actually is and what it means.

What are best tips for travelling?

I want to help speed up the process and help you avoid my mistakes, so I put together this giant list of 61 travel tips that cover everything under the sun to help you reach your full travel ninja potential. (hopefully) Here are mine 10 best tips to remember before travelling:
1. Don’t make too many plans -I think sometimes when it comes to travel we want
to make sure we squeeze in as much as we can so we feel fulfilled. My
experience has showed me that the less we plan, the more we can get off the
beaten path and meet people, and then that’s when things turn out the best.

2. Place a paper inside your luggage — both checked and carryon — with a simplified itinerary including your dates of travel and locations, including addresses of where you are staying. This can greatly help ensure that lost luggage is returned to you in a timely fashion. You can never trust the tags on the outside of luggage to remain attached.

3. Get A Better Seat -Always ask for a better seat at check in (like an aisle row or a row of seats to yourself). The aisle rows are usually reserved for check-in, so its your best chance to get a better set without paying for it!

4. Making a trip longer than a week? – Plan to stay home the day after you return, before you go back to work. Traveling can be stressful, and having a day to unwind and unpack will help you feel more refreshed before returning to work.

5. Don’t be afraid to use a map – Looking like a tourist isn’t as bad as getting really lost and ending up in the wrong neighborhood. Don’t be afraid to use a map or ask for directions and look like a tourist. After all, you are one! I always use a map when I travel. It helps you get to where you need to go!

6. Traveling by air? Put a “go bag” containing your most essential items such as travel documents, medications, and anything that can’t be in the cargo hold into your carry-on bags. That way, if the gate agent forces you to gate check your bag due to limited space on the plane, you won’t be fumbling to rearrange things. You can just grab the “go bag” and go.

7. Use reliable locals – They know all the secrets about places and can help you to deal with challenges. Also it is good to have a local point of contact is case of something gone bad.

8. Know How To Send Yourself Money – Before going abroad, make sure you have a method in place to send money overseas. You don’t want to get stranded in Tasmania without access to your bank accounts and no way to send or receive cash.

9. Ask Hotel/Hostel staff for information – Hostel staff deal with budget travelers all day, every day. They know exactly where to go for cheap meals and attractions. They also tend to be locals so they know the city very well. Ask them for all sorts of information. Even if you aren’t staying in one, just pop in and ask for help. They’ll usually give it.

10. Be Nice – Be genuinely nice to everyone and it will open all kinds of doors.
